Trolley Barn Public Market Welcomes New Faces Amid Vendor Changes

Quakertown's Trolley Barn Public Market is celebrating its fifth anniversary while undergoing several changes.

The Trolley Barn Public Market in Quakertown is celebrating its fifth anniversary while undergoing several changes, including the addition of new vendors, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.

One original tenant recently left the market, as Black River Farms Vineyard & Winery closed its Black River Wine Bar on Sept. 21.

The space the winery vacated will not be empty for long. True Blue Mediterranean Grill will expand its operations in mid-October to include a full-service concept in the space that will be open six days a week and feature a separate Broad Street entrance. True Blue will continue operating its fast-casual kiosk.

“People will still be able to order at the counter kiosk in its current format, but now they’ll also have a full-service option,” said True Blue co-owner Sam Guadalupe.

Three new tenants are also joining the market: The Worthy Dessert, an artisan bakery opening in early October in the former Batch Microcreamery space; Convivial “Tacos & Tequila,” a Mexican concept with ready-to-drink cocktails opening mid-October in The Yard building; and Swirty, a dirty soda and mocktail bar opening in January in part of the former Batch space.
