New Retail, Food Vendors Coming to Quakertown Farmers Market

Quakertown Farmers Market in Richland Township welcomed several new tenants to its lineup in recent months.

Quakertown Farmers Market in Richland Township welcomed several new tenants to its lineup in recent months, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.

The expansive shopping venue also known as “Q-Mart” to locals also has several prospective tenants whose leases are being finalized.

The newest addition to the market is Evil Empire House of Horrors, which opened on February 17. The shop carries horror comics and collectibles. It is an expansion of Evil Empire Comics, which offers comics and graphic novels.

Another shop that recently opened at the market is Eat My Shorts. The shop carries a variety of fashions, home decor, and more.

“The owner Cara sells an eclectic variety of art, furniture, books, clothing, glassware, and more,” said Sara Hoadley, the market’s marketing director. “New merchandise is added weekly.”

More food vendors also joined late last year.

Dino Sweets offers freshly prepared and customizable mini doughnuts with over a dozen toppings. Mini churros, milkshakes, and lemonades are also on the menu.

Meanwhile, Snackdown Grille offers “Champion” and “Main Event” hot dogs, alongside burgers, chicken fingers, and corn nuggets, among much more.

Finally, Mi’s Korean Kitchen serves delicious Korean specialties like kimchi, japchae, and bibimbap.
