Azur, a new family-owned spot offering elevated Mediterranean cuisine, will debut in Quakertown at the Trolley Barn Public Market on Dec. 1, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.
Co-owned by Sam and Cassie Guadalupe, the restaurant will be a sister location to True Blue Mediterranean Grill, the couple’s fast-casual eatery next door known for its authentic Mediterranean dishes.
The full-service Azur will move into the space formerly occupied by Black River Wine Bar and will operate six days a week with its own Broad Street entrance.
The restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM, and the bar will be open for an additional hour.
The couple will continue operating their fast-casual kiosk, which is open during regular market hours.
“People will still be able to order at the counter kiosk in its current format, but now they’ll also have a full-service option,” said Sam Guadalupe. “With the full-service option, we’re going to offer unique specials on the menu that you won’t be able to get at the kiosk. For example, we’re thinking about featuring a really nice Mediterranean filet, lamb chops, fresh fish, and some vegan and vegetarian entrees.”
