Furlong Design Studio Receives Third National Award for Excellence in Retail

Gasper Exterior Furnishings Studio won the Apollo Award for retail excellence at a gala held by the International Casual Furniture Association.

Furlong’s Gasper Exterior Furnishings Studio recently won its third Apollo Award from the International Casual Furniture Association, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

This honor for retail excellence was given at the ICFA’s National Awards Gala in Atlanta, Georgia.

The studio won the award for single-store location in 2020 and received the Apollo for multi-store locations in 2023 and 2025.

“We are honored to receive our third prestigious Apollo Award from the ICFA and our industry peers,” said owner Bob Gasper. “Credit goes to Eli Hymer, managing director of our Furlong studio, and his outstanding team.”

Gasper currently owns four divisions in Bucks County. In 2022, the studio’s Home and Garden Center Richboro location was relocated to its own standalone store in Furlong.

For the last 60 years, the Apollo Award has been one of the most esteemed honors a business can receive. Companies are judged on sales management, annual growth, merchandising and marketing, credit history, achievement of goals, and sales training programs.

“Every single member of the Gasper staff contributed to our receiving this award. From accounting to shipping to marketing and sales—every department deserves a special thank you and recognition for a job well done,” said Hymer
