Don’t Miss These Activities in Bucks County If You Love Animals

Bucks County is home to a variety of spots offering fun animal activities for locals to enjoy, from soothing goat yoga to petting alpacas.

Those looking to spend some time with cute animals can check out the variety of activities available in Bucks County, writes Kaitlin Nasevich for Visit Bucks County.  

Chalfont’s Coleman Hay Farms offers the Highland Moo Meet and Greet, giving locals the chance to see their Highland cows. Visitors will learn about the cows on the farm and have the chance to feed and take pictures with them.  

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Hellerick’s Adventure Farm in Doylestown has goat yoga. Guests follow along with a certified instructor as the goats snuggle and climb on participants. The farm also includes a goat pen, where visitors can pet and play with the furry animals for 30 minutes. 

Ross Mill Farm is home to an assortment of adorable piglets waiting to be cuddled. This Jamison farm offers fun activities throughout the year, including the Mini Piggy Palooza and piggy paintings. Guests can also take a guided tour to learn about the history of the farm.  

Stop by Ivyland’s Tanner Brothers Dairy Farm to grab an ice cream and watch their cows wandering in the fields.  

Bucks County Alpacas in Bedminster gives locals the chance to meet, feed and walk their alpacas. Visitors will have the chance to learn about the history of these cute creatures, sustainability and fiber production.
