Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope has named three powerhouse creatives—Shannon Lewis, Eric Rosen, and John Tartaglia—as its newest Artistic Associates.
The trio joins a stellar lineup of contributors helping shape the Playhouse’s growing legacy.
All three are familiar faces to Playhouse audiences. Rosen recently directed “Tick, Tick… Boom!” and “Anastasia: The Musical.”
Lewis and Tartaglia, who previously brought the smash hit Mamma Mia! to life, return this year to direct and choreograph Elf: The Musical.
Lewis also reimagined The Rocky Horror Show starring Frankie Grande, which will return this fall.
“These artists aren’t just talented—they’re part of our extended family,” said Producing Director Alexander Fraser. “They’ve helped us raise the bar again and again.”
The Artistic Associates program began in 2018 to honor creatives with deep ties to the Playhouse. The list includes director Hunter Foster, designer Anna Louizos, and actor Mason Reeves—now on Broadway.
Executive Producer Robyn Goodman added, “With celebrated performers like Marsha Mason, Marilu Henner, and Justin Guarini on our board, our artistic network is stronger than ever.”
The Playhouse continues to build momentum as a nationally recognized destination for premier talent and innovative productions. Its 2024 season brought in a record number of first-time visitors, thanks to crowd-pleasers like Grease and Anastasia.
By naming these three visionary artists as associates, Bucks County Playhouse strengthens its creative roots—and sets the stage for many more unforgettable performances ahead.
