Just in time for Halloween, Frankie Grande, an actor, producer, and reality TV star, is back on stage at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, reports Astrid Martinez for NBC10 Philadelphia. The actor is taking on one of his favorite roles in The Rocky Horror Show.
Grande, who dazzled audiences on Broadway in Rock of Ages and Mamma Mia!, is reprising his iconic role as Frank-N-Furter.
“I mean, I really really do truly feel like it’s a character I was born to play,” said Grande. “His attitude of ‘don’t dream it, be it,’ and his unapologetic way that he expresses himself and defies gender norms and embraces the unconventional is something that I kind of have always related to my entire life.”
The actor is bringing the signature family Grande energy – his sister is Ariana Grande – to the stage. He is backed by a talented cast who knows how to fully express the camp and humor of this classic.
“We have almost the exact same cast as last year, which is so beautiful because you really do form a family,” said Grande.
