Weekend Registered Nurse Supervisor
Freedom Village is searching for a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) who is responsible for the overall nursing care/service and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.
Responsibilities with this position include:
- Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
- Administer direct care as necessary.
- Give and receive shift reports.
- Round twice a shift to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
- Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
- Respond to resident emergency call system.
- Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
- Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
- Encourage restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence
Qualifications for this position:
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN with a current license in Pennsylvania.
- At least 1 year of experience in geriatric nursing Long Term Care (LTC) is a plus.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Basic computer proficiency.

Licensed Practical Nurse
Freedom Village at Brandywine is currently hiring for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse position with a schedule that includes weekdays and every other weekend, as well as a part-time position with a schedule of Fridays and every other weekend.
This role is eligible for a shift differential of $1.25 for evenings during the week and $2.50 on the weekends. Salary starts at $30/hour.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and family/social activities and actively promote the independent lifestyle of residents.
- Responsible for the identification of resident medical and behavioral changes, the development and monitoring of care plans, and the re-assessment of each resident.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
- Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.

- Current nursing license valid in Pennsylvania.

Medication Technician
Freedom Village is seeking certified medication technicians for three shifts.
The position starts at $18 an hour on all shifts, with a shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist with ambulation and mobility.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Report any unusual incidents.
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Works as a member of the team.
- Gets along well with co-workers.

Qualifications for this position:
- You have Medication Technician experience.
- You hold a DHS certification.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
