Health and Wellness Director
Freedom Village seeks a Health and Wellness Director to support its Personal Care and Memory Care community.
The Health and Wellness Director oversees the personal care and memory care services within the community and is responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Assessing Residents’ Health: evaluating the overall health of our residents and creating personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs.
- Emergency Response: In urgent situations, provide immediate intervention to ensure residents’ well-being.
- Promoting Independence: facilitate residents’ independence by offering nursing support that empowers them to maintain their autonomy.
- Operational Excellence: plan, organize, develop, and direct our nursing services, always striving for the highest quality patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance: ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local standards, promoting a safe and compliant environment.

Applicants for this position:
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Possess an active Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Have at least two to three years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably a Personal Care Home or long-term care background.
- Understand Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations or Personal Care Regulations.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience overseeing a clinical team.
- Possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with residents, families, and staff.

- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Scheduler/Caregiver
Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking a scheduler/caregiver.
Duties of this position include:
- The Scheduler/Caregiver of Innovative Home Services coordinates service delivery and supports the IHS Manager/Lead Scheduler with coordination of home care scheduling in addition to providing caregiver support.
- They review available client information to determine private duty needs. Schedules appropriate personnel to fill the needs of the client’s request for private duty. May perform billing duties as directed by the IHS Director.
- Is available during operating hours to assist personnel as appropriate
- Provides companion services for seniors in the community. Companion services are non-skilled, non-nursing services that do not provide hands-on support, such as housekeeping, shopping and errands, meal preparation, laundry, ironing, pet care such as dog walking, litterbox care, and pet supply shopping, Transportation and escorts to appointments and social events, etc.
- Performs on-call duties after regular office hours as determined by the IHS Director.
Candidates for this position must have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year of experience in a private duty or related organization is preferred.
- Has CPR certification or receives CPR certification after hire.

Medication Technician
Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking certified medication technicians on all three shifts. DHS certification is required.
The position starts at $18/hour on all shifts, with a shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.
