Since Mark Rosenthal of Jamison died in 2010, his family has been coping with the loss through humor, while sharing their journey on various social media platforms, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

His wife, Robin, and their two children, Emma and Sam, film many of their videos near Robin’s Jamison home, capturing authentic and often quirky segments of their lives.

Last week, the family made the short list of honorees for the 29th Annual Webby Awards in the Creator Excellence category for Most Viral Video.

The video that earned them the honor has received more than 26 million views on TikTok. It shows the family sitting graveside around a kiddie pool with pool party accessories last Father’s Day, sharing memories of their dad and playfully teasing one another.

“If you’ve experienced tragedy, you get it,” said Sam. “It’s that humor that’s gotten us to this point where we’ve gone through grief, and we’ve come together as a family. So, us showing that humor to the world is kind of like bringing them in and showing them it’s okay to laugh at this stuff.”
