Jamison is welcoming a new grocery store that offers shoppers a bang for their buck, aptly named Jamison Grocery Outlet, writes Jeff Werner for The Patch.

The grocery store, located in the Warwick Square Shopping Center, had its grand opening last week.

The 25,000-square-foot store is run independently by Bay Area-based store operators Bill and Starla Lohr, who boast of the business’ “extreme value” groceries.

Bill previously ran two bars in the San Francisco metro area before the couple decided to move to the East Coast.

“We never thought we’d be here in Jamison…. we wouldn’t have thought that we’d love it so much,” Bill told The Patch.

The Jamison Grocery Outlet includes various products, with the standard departments one might find in a grocery store, including produce, dairy, health and beauty, and a deli area.

The California-based chain is known for carrying trusted brand products at cheaper prices.

Through March 21, customers have the chance to win $1,000 in groceries.
