Green Parrot, the popular restaurant and bar on North Sycamore Street in Newtown, has a fresh nighttime look with a set of Gemstone LED lights, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
Outdoor Lighting Perspectives recently installed a new lighting system at the eatery, now illuminating the exterior of the building at Goodnoe Corner. The Gemstone LED lights will change colors for holidays and to celebrate the restaurant’s favorite teams.
The first color is green, according to folks at the Parrot, celebrating the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and the upcoming Newtown Irish Festival.
“We will be going (Phillies) red for opening day of baseball, pink for breast cancer awareness month, Red, White, and Blue for Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and the Fourth of July, and more,” stated Green Parrot.
