One of the most popular bars in Bucks County is kicking off St. Patrick’s Day with a few days of festive celebrations in a small town.

The Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio, located at 212 North Sycamore Street in Newtown, is celebrating the 2023 Newtown Irish Festival. Having begun this week, the popular pub will be hosting an array of live musical acts and other forms of entertainment for locals and visitors to the area.

This festive celebrations comes just after the bar closed for a few weeks in order to undergo renovations to the interior of the building.

A longtime favorite spot in the small town, the bar has been in operation for over a decade. It is named after the Green Parrot Inn, a once-popular spot in the area.

“With our inviting, friendly atmosphere, and delicious pub-style cuisine, The Green Parrot has fast become a favorite restaurant destination for both locals and visitors alike,” the bar said online.
