Eagles’ Jordan Mailata Makes Surprise Performance at Newtown Pub
Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata, fresh off signing a $66 million contract extension, showcased his vocal talents at the Green Parrot in Newtown, writes
During a performance by New Jersey band Code Emo, Mailata surprised attendees by taking the stage to sing.
Described by the band as a “larger than life sized man” who was visibly enjoying the evening, Mailata’s presence was confirmed by the bar’s staff, prompting his impromptu performance.
He entertained the crowd with renditions of “Valerie” by the Zutons, famously covered by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse, and Blink-182’s “All The Small Things,” along with the Eagles’ fight song.
Known for his musical side appearances, Mailata has performed at various events, including on stage with Darius Rucker and on Fox’s “The Masked Singer.”
With the recent retirement of teammate Jason Kelce, Mailata is poised to take on a more prominent leadership role with the Eagles.
