Several Bucks County towns ranked among the top 100 safest cities in Pennsylvania, according to a report from Elite Personal Finance.
The report was based on data from FBI crime statistics. Safer cities got lower scores on the list, and towns with under 5,000 residents were not included.
With a population of 22,880, the Newtown township ranked number 15 on the list for towns between 10,000-30,000 residents. Overall, Newtown Township ranked 37 of the top 100 safest towns for February of 2024.
New Britain Township trailed behind at no. 22 on the list with a population of 11,252, and Upper Southampton ranked at no. 35 on the list.
Lower Makefield ranked third place for towns with over 30,000 residents.
Buckingham Township ranked second place for the safest town in the Keystone State for towns with 10,000-30,000 residents.
