Bucks County Takes Top Ten Among Fastest-Growing Counties in Pennsylvania

Bucks County has emerged as a major player in Pennsylvania’s demographic landscape, securing the ninth spot among the fastest-growing counties in the state.

According to a recent Stacker analysis based on U.S. Census Bureau data, the county experienced a notable population increase of 21,289 residents from 2010 to 2020. 

This 3.4 percent  population growth places Bucks County at #278 in the nation for absolute growth and #14 in Pennsylvania for percentage increase, ranking #1,000 among all U.S. counties.

With a total population of 646,538 in 2020, Bucks County is now the fourth largest in Pennsylvania and the 107th largest nationwide. 

Philadelphia, Montgomery County, and Chester County took the top three spots for growth in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia, the state’s largest city, continues to draw residents with its economic opportunities and vibrant culture.
