Bucks County COVID-19 Vaccination Rate Ranks in Top-Ten Across Pennsylvania

The Bucks County COVID-19 vaccination rate is among the highest in Pennsylvania, according to a new report by Stacker.

To determine counties’ vaccination rates, Stacker used data from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services as of September 9.

Bucks County ranked in sixth place, with 60.5 percent of the population (or 379,967 residents) fully vaccinated. This is eight percent above the vaccination rate in Pennsylvania.

Among the population over 65, there are 101,968 fully vaccinated in-county residents, or 84.4 percent. This is lower than the Pennsylvania statistic by 2.4 percent.

The county recorded cumulative deaths per 100,000 people of 215 or a total of 1,349 COVID-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic. This represents 3.2 percent fewer deaths per 100,000 residents than the rest of Pennsylvania.

The number of confirmed cases per 100,000 residents is at 10,497, or 65,951 total cases. This is 1.1 percent more cases per 100,000 residents than the state.

Neighboring Delaware, Montgomery, and Chester counties also made the top ten for vaccinated counties, in fourth, seventh, and ninth places, respectively.
