368 Thompson Mill Road in New Hope is among the priciest homes sold in Bucks County at $4.7 million.

Four Bucks County properties have ranked among the ten most expensive home sales in the Philadelphia region, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Leading the list at no. four is a nearly 60-acre estate in New Hope, originally granted by William Penn, which sold for $5.1 million. This 18th-century property, nestled along the Delaware River, features five bedrooms and five bathrooms, reflecting its rich history and prime location.

Another notable sale in sixth place includes a $4.7 million estate on Thompson Mill Road in New Hope. Spanning 9,330 square feet on 12 acres, this home combines historical elements with modern enhancements, including a heated saltwater pool, a stone spring house, and an impressive cook’s kitchen. The estate also offers a potential guest apartment.

Additionally, two more properties, both sold for $4.5 million each, further emphasize Bucks County’s appeal. These homes, located on Windy Bush Road in Newtown and Aquetong Road in New Hope offer expansive acreage and spacious living, reflecting the area’s desirability among high-end buyers.
