Some of the priciest homes in Bucks County were listed and sold for millions this year, writes JD Mullane for the Bucks County Courier Times.
In Solebury township, the 33-acre estate on 6550 Meetinghouse Road, or Finale Farm, sold for $6.5 million. The property includes original structures dating back to the early 1700s, a pool, pond, guest house, and access to a 20-acre private lake.
On 412 Brownsburg Road in Upper Makefield is a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion with an elevator, gourmet kitchen, bowling alley, billiard room, bar, karaoke stage, and other luxury amenities. The property sold for $5.5 million in May.
At 447 Lurgan Road, also in Upper Makefield, is a 14,000 square foot, five-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate house on a sprawling 13 acres. This massive property includes a designer kitchen, private library, first-floor suite, galleries, theater room, wine cellar, and more. It sold for $4.85 million in September.
A Doylestown Victorian on 2951 Holicong Road sold for $4 million in August. The rare property features meticulous craftsmanship and bucolic views.
On 10 E. Randolph Street in New Hope Borough, a mid-century home with views of the Delaware River sold for 4.2 million.
