Sojo Industries, a beverage technology company in Bristol, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This round included investments from Schreiber Corporate Ventures, part of Schreiber Foods, a global leader in food and beverage manufacturing, and Tech Council Ventures

Founded by Barak Bar-Cohen, former COO of Bai, and Steve Rubin, former CEO of Horizon Lines, Sojo Industries uses robotics to streamline beverage packaging.

Their Sojo Flight technology sets up mobile manufacturing lines, helping companies efficiently package variety packs.

The company has expanded rapidly, doubling its headcount to 86 and increasing its customer base from 24 to 50 since the end of 2023.

With four warehouses nationwide, including a new 150,000-square-foot facility in Texas, Sojo is on track to double its revenue to $40 million this year.

The partnership with Schreiber Foods aims to enhance Sojo’s growth by leveraging Schreiber’s logistics network and innovative mindset.

Sojo plans to integrate its Sojo Shield and Sojo Flight technologies into Schreiber’s operations, opening global opportunities.

With $23 million in total funding, Sojo Industries is poised for continued aggressive growth, targeting $100 million in revenue within a few years.
