The Grundy Museum in Bristol is reopening the Victorian Holiday House on Friday, Nov. 21 with a “Toys & Tinsel” theme, reports PhillyVoice Media Events.
Guests will be able to stroll through seven Christmas displays in the 19th-century home, complete with decor inspired by the Victorian Era.
Antique toys from Troy Chinnici-Bianchi, a collector in Philadelphia, will be featured throughout the displays.
Old teddy bears, dolls, wooden toys and hand-carved rocking horses are just some of the items that will be featured, giving guests a glimpse into the past.
Several of the items have never been on public display before, giving visitors a special look into the playroom of a Victorian child.
The Holiday House will open at 6 PM and tickets are available for $50.
Claudia Pellegrini, a talented violinist, will be providing a live performance, and light refreshments will be available in the South Lawn Garden.
From Nov. 22 to Dec. 20, walking tour tickets will be available for $5.
