On June 13, the Michener Art Museum will be hosting the Art After Dark Drag and Draw event from 6–8 PM to honor the tradition of Pride.

June marks Pride Month, a time to honor the LGBTQ+ community and reflect on the progress and ongoing challenges in the fight for social change, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Originating from the Stonewall Uprising in 1969, Pride Month celebrates the strides made in the LGBTQ+ rights movement while shedding light on issues the community still faces to this day.

On June 13, the Michener Art Museum will be hosting the Art After Dark Drag and Draw event from 6–8 PM. It offers an interactive life-drawing event with drag performers Hannibal Lickher and Mr. Right. Participants can unleash their creativity in a vibrant and supportive environment.

All materials are provided, and attendees can bring their own drawing supplies and unopened beer or wine. The event, designed for those 21 and older, promises an evening of art, laughter, and community. Registration is available online.
