Join the Warminster Food Bank Summer Drive: Help Local Families in Need
Warminster Food Bank aims to fill its shelves with a summer food drive on Saturday, June 1, from 10 AM to 1 PM, writes Dino Ciliberti for the Patch.
The drive, hosted at ShopRite Supermarket of Warminster, is a collaborative effort with the Warrington Lions Club.
This food drive is crucial as schools close for summer, ending school-provided lunches for many students.
The collected items will support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, helping bridge the summer food gap.
“Food insecurity doesn’t take the summer off,” added Mike Cerino, director of the Warminster Food Bank. “We hope the community will rally together for our summer food drive.”
The Warminster Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) organization, serves over 12,000 people annually in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
