A Warminster woman, Evelyn ‘Evie’ Dugan, has dedicated half of her life to service at the Warminster Food Bank, writes Dino Ciliberti for The Patch.

90-year-old Dugan, was honored for her forty-five years of service with a Certificate of Merit from the Warminster Rotary Club during a holiday breakfast at Five Ponds Golf Club.

The food bank’s director, Mike Cerino, said that Evie’s recognition was “long overdue” since she started volunteering in 1978.

The food bank serves over 12,000 individuals and 3,000 families in need annually.
