Warminster Food Bank Receives $10K Donation, Will Use Funds To Fight Local Hunger

The food bank received a hefty donation to help local families.

A local food bank recently received a heft donation that will be used to gather more food and supplies for residents in need.

The Warminster Food Bank was given a donation of $10,000 from Giant Food Stores, a supermarket chain the food bank regularly works with. The money will be used to aid those in the area who are in need of food for socio-economic reasons.

“We Thank Giant Food Stores for their recognition in honor of Hunger Action Month,” the food bank said online. “Giant members volunteered at the food bank Friday morning September 23, 2022 and also are expected to present a donation for $10,000 in support of the fight against hunger.”

The food bank regularly collections food for Bucks County individuals and families who are in need. The recent donation will ensure that even more Bucks County residents will be assisted in the near future.
