Peddler’s Village in Lahaska is announcing significant promotions for two key team members within their hospitality operations, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

Matt Bender, formerly the director of restaurants, earned the role of Director of Hospitality Operations. In this new capacity, Bender will manage the entirety of the village’s hospitality elements, including six restaurants, the Golden Plough Inn, and the Giggleberry Fair family center.

David Perini, previously the executive chef at the renowned Cock ‘n Bull restaurant, steps into the role of Culinary Director.

Perini will now oversee all culinary aspects for the village’s dining establishments, directing the executive chefs and enhancing food and beverage offerings across the board.

Both promotions were confirmed by CEO Bob McGowan, who himself was recently promoted.

“We are extremely fortunate to have these two talented leaders who have already elevated our hospitality operations significantly,” praised McGowan.

These appointments come as both Bender and Perini have shown exceptional leadership and innovation in their previous roles, significantly shaping the culinary and hospitality landscape of Peddler’s Village amidst the challenges of recent years.
