The Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum in Warminster is hosting a unique Titanic-themed fundraising dinner.

The Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum in Warminster, known for its role in training astronauts, is hosting a unique fundraising dinner on April 6 at The Spring Mill Country Club, writes Peg Quann for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The event will feature the Titanic’s menu from the night it sank, connecting history from beneath the sea to the stars.

The dinner will welcome Bensalem businessman Fred Hagen, an expert in aviation and underwater exploration who has visited the Titanic’s wreck, as the guest speaker.

Hagen’s experiences include a mission to the Titanic wreck aboard the submersible Titan before its tragic loss last June.

This special event aims to raise funds for the Naval Air Development Center at Johnsville and possibly restore the original centrifuge gondola used in astronaut training.

Tickets for this year’s dinner, which aims to merge historic tales of exploration and innovation, are available online.
