Warminster Historical Society Celebrates Over 300 Years of Local History, Events

A local historical society will be celebrating the area's history this weekend.

As one of the oldest areas in Bucks County, Warminster is celebrating over three centuries of local and American history this weekend.

The Warminster Historical Society will be celebrating Warminster History Day at the Warminster Township Free Library on Saturday from 11 – 3 PM. The event will tell the storied history of the area, which has played a major role in major American historical events.

The organization will be collaborating with Dan McPhillips, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds, along with the Craven Hall Historical Society, Johnsville Centrifuge & Science Museum, Millbrook Society, and Ivyland Borough to put on the event. They constantly put on events to help locals and victors understand the area’s important history.

“In doing so, we enhance the knowledge of township history to the greater public and promote the growth of the ever changing and growing community culture,” the organization said not heir website.
