A Richboro Taco Bell manager's quick thinking and heroic actions saved the life of an 11-month-old baby who was struggling to breathe.

A Richboro Taco Bell manager’s quick thinking and heroic actions saved the life of an 11-month-old baby, writes Charles Watson for ABC 7.

Natasha Long, the mother, was at a Taco Bell drive-thru with her son, Myles, when she noticed he was struggling to breathe. In a panic, she pulled him from the car, screaming for help as her baby turned blue and became lifeless.

Becky Arbaugh, the manager on duty, heard Long’s cries and immediately rushed to assist.

Discarding her headset, Arbaugh performed chest compressions on Myles until he began breathing again.

Arbaugh, a mother herself, drew on her own experiences with her daughter to manage the crisis calmly and effectively.

Long credits Arbaugh with saving her son’s life, calling her a guardian angel.

Grateful for her lifesaving actions, Long has kept in close contact with Arbaugh, who has even offered to stay with Myles in the hospital to provide his parents with some respite.

Both women believe this traumatic experience has forged a lasting bond between them. Arbaugh, while humbled, insists she is no hero, saying she did what any mother would do in such a situation.
