Gary Wallace, Morrisville’s new mayor, is making waves with his Elvis Presley-inspired pompadour and a commitment to revitalizing the town, writes Peg Quann for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Wallace, who recently took office, is actively involved in community enrichment programs, such as the “Buy a Slice, Send a Slice” initiative with Bella Sicily pizza shop.

This initiative, running from April 13-20, aims to donate a pizza slice to local families in need for every slice sold.

It supports the Interfaith Food Alliance—a collaboration between religious organizations and businesses in Lower Bucks County that aids 350-400 people monthly.

Amid challenges like rising living costs affecting many Morrisville residents, the alliance provides vital food supplies and household items.

Wallace’s leadership comes at a time when Morrisville is exploring growth opportunities, including a potential merger with the Pennsbury School District to broaden educational offerings.
