This once headquarters of George Washington in December 1776, and home to two signers of the U.S. Constitution, is getting a taste of modern entrepreneurship with Ashlynn Distillery’s launch of its new brand of spirits, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Their featured release, Summerseat Vodka, is a tribute to the historic mansion and a nod to the town’s heritage.

Chris Cacace, who owns Ashlynn Distillery with his cousin Ed Cacace, has been a Morrisville resident for fifty years and is passionate about promoting the town’s legacy through spirits named after historical figures and landmarks.

Summerseat Vodka, a triple blend of corn, rye, and beet, is just the beginning of this spirited homage.

Ashlynn’s lineup boasts seven additional spirits, including seasonal favorites like Caramel Apple Whiskey and Pumpkin Spiced Rum.

The distillery’s tasting room is a blend of comfort and style. Their Smoked Orange Crush, featuring Summerseat Vodka, is a zesty affair topped with a flamed orange peel.

Along with Master Distiller Robert Blasscyk and Assistant Distiller Anthony Cacace at the helm of the operation, the team is dedicated to the art of distillation and honoring the history of their town.
