As one building in Bucks County closes its operations, a restaurant group has acquired the property to make way fro a new dining spot.

The Yardley Restaurant Group recently purchased the former location of Morrisville Water Works, located at 650 North Delmorr Avenue. The restaurant group plans to develop a new restaurant concept called Calhoun’s River Deck Raw Bar.

The new spot will offer a unique waterfront dining experience. The menu will showcase a raw bar with fresh, locally-sourced seafood, a variety of tapas dishes, and refreshing craft cocktails, beer & wine. The expansive deck with stunning views of the Delaware River will be perfect for summertime gatherings and events.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our portfolio with the acquisition of this prime waterfront property,” said Nicole Rabena, the CEO of the Yardley Restaurant Group.

“We believe this location has tremendous potential, and we are excited to bring our vision to life. The Delaware River is a beautiful and historic location, and we can’t wait to offer our customers a truly special alfresco experience at Calhoun’s River Deck Raw Bar.”

The Yardley Restaurant Group is involved with several other local eateries, including La La Lobster, Mil-Lee’s Yardley Diner, Sauce Yardley, and the Yardley Distillery Tex-Mex, which will be opening soon.

Construction on Calhoun’s River Deck Raw Bar is set to begin in the coming months. The restaurant will create jobs for the local community and provide a new gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
