Doylestown Hospital is the best health care facility in Bucks County, and the eighth best in the state, according to Newsweek’s 2024 World’s Best Hospitals List.
This is the sixth year in a row the healthcare facility has earned its accolades, according to a staff report from TapintoDoylestown.
In addition to ranking so highly regionally and state-wide, the hospital also earned special recognition for infection prevention and patient experience.
Newsweek calculated the rankings based on compiled data from feedback from patients, medical experts, metrics, and evaluations of patient health used by regulators.
The hospital, having just celebrated its 100th birthday, announced earlier this year that it may become part of the Penn Health Network.
