Philadelphia chefs are turning their culinary talents into a force for good by partnering up with Bensalem-based WellFed meal service company, writes Jessica Yakubovsky for WPHL Philadelphia.

Phillies Executive Chef, Keith Rudolph, alongside WellFed owners and sisters, Laurenza Giosa and Adrianna Hecht, crafted a special meal with charity in mind.

Their collaboration brought to life the Coffee Rubbed Bison Skirt Steak with Mint Chimichurri, Sweet Potato Wedges, and Okra Succotash, a dish designed not only to please the palate but to make a difference.

This unique dish, also known as the Chipotle Bison Skirt Steak, is available for order until Friday, March 8.

Its proceeds are going to “Unite for HER,” a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women battling breast and ovarian cancer.

Rudolph discussed the benefits of each dish component, emphasizing the bison’s high protein and low fat, the immune-boosting sweet potatoes, the homely succotash, and his favorite, the mint chimichurri sauce.
