A state-of-the-art movie theater is set to make its premiere in Richland Township, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ.  

The 12-screen luxury theater gives moviegoers an immersive experience. The facility will offer heated recliner seating, large-format auditoriums, surround sound, an expanded snack bar, and laser projectors to the community starting on its opening date March 1.  

The theater also uses ButtKicker technology which allows viewers to feel vibrations in their seats during intense scenes. Select movies will also be available in 3-D.  

R/C Richland Crossing Movies12 can be found in the Richland Crossings shopping center, which previously housed the Regal Cinemas theater before it closed in 2022.  

Ticket purchases and seat reservations can be made online. The theater will also be offering discounts to children, seniors, and active-duty members.
