Buckingham Township is reviewing a 150,000 square-foot proposal for a warehouse project.

A 150,000 square-foot proposal for a warehouse project along Buckingham’s Cold Spring Creamery Road is set to be reviewed, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The warehouse, proposed by Asbury, New Jersey-based developer J.G. Petrucci Company, includes 30 loading bays, two parking areas, and access drives.

On Feb. 7, the township’s planning commission will review the proposed plan again after the most recent proposal was withdrawn in late July of 2023.

The applicants wanted to withdraw to re-evaluate and revise the plan, according to a letter from their attorney.

Some residents have publicly opposed the project due to safety concerns, as well as how the development could affect traffic, noise, and home values.

One resident expressed concerns about how trucks entering the premises could impact public safety, specifically for pedestrians and bicyclists.

The property falls within the PI-2 planned industrial district, designated primarily for business, commercial, office, and laboratory purposes as per the zoning ordinance of the township.
