The redevelopment will help the infrastructure of the local area.

A waterfront area of Bucks County will soon see a massive makeover, including the renovations of several local properties. Damon C. Williams wrote about the recent developments for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The Bensalem Township Council recently reached an agreement regarding the the R-55 Riverfront Revitalization District, which was set up in the early 2000s. The recent compromise would allow developers to perform renovations to editing properties, as well as add on to ones that are being planned in the area.

Several warehouses and businesses, including the popular Broken Goblet Brewing, would be affected by this recent update. Rezoning is planned for the area just on the outskirts of the district, in order to add new and take away territory for developers to work on.

“So anything you can currently do today in any of those properties, you’ll be able to do once we are done with the process of creating the R-55A district,” said Bensalem Solicitor Joe Pizzo.
