Bristol Township, Neshaminy, and Pennsbury school boards recently honored several departing board members for their years of service, writes Tom Sofield for Levittown Now.

Barbara Bill was recognized by Bristol Township School Board for her six years of service. Bill is known for both her dedication to students and her devotion to performing and theater arts.

School Board President James Morgan presented Bill with a plaque and a pair of seats at Lou Volpe Auditorium at Truman High School will be dedicated to honor her legacy.

Adam Kovitz and Paul Saraullo were honored by Neshaminy School District Acting Superintendent Jason Bowman. Several board members acknowledged Kovitz’s and Saraullo’s contributions while they served on the board.

“Neshaminy has been well served,” said John Allen, a board member who collaborated on the facilities committee with Saraullo and on the Bucks County Technical High School board with Kovitz.

Meanwhile, Pennsbury School Board recognized Gary Sanderson, who served the Pennsbury School District for sixteen years.

Sanderson is known for his continuous support of the Pennsbury LYFT Character Awards as well as his involvement in community projects. He described his departure as “bittersweet.”
