Quakertown-born Sabrina Carpenter has making waves as an upcoming pop star, especially among the Swifties, writes Franki Rudensky for The Philly Voice.

The ‘Feather’ singer is joining Reading-raised pop icon Taylor Swift in Brazil, Australia, and Singapore to kick off the international leg of The Eras Tour, recently joining her in Argentina.

Even though Carpenter moved to the West Coast at age 13 to pursue a music career, she reminisced on the Wawas she was missing out on in L.A.

In an interview in 2015, Carpenter told Lehigh Vallley Live that her upbringing has always shown up in her music.

The 24-year-old also has an acting streak, and has made a name for herself through roles in “Law and Order: SVU” “The Hate U Give,” and more notably “Girl Meets World,” and “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”

A nearly lifelong Swiftie herself, Carpenter first covered the Reading native’s song “Picture to Burn,” on Youtube in 2009.

The Pennsylvania pop stars formed a friendship years later, and Carpenter even attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Philly as a fan.
