New Britain Rite Aid Joins Growing List of Closing Bucks County Stores
A New Britain Rite Aid is joining other Bucks County locations in shutting its doors, writes Ed Doyle for TapintoDoylestown.
On Nov. 29, the location of the New Britain Rite Aid in the Town Center will be closing for good.
Employees say they were only given a two-week warning ahead of the store closing.
However, some suspected that their location was about to be nixed due to bare shelves, less stock, and an abrupt cancellation of a merchandise truck.
Employees say were told they would be offered jobs at nearby locations.
Last month, Rite Aid announced it would close several locations in Bucks County, including Quakertown, Levittown, and Yardley.
