As the holidays approach, an ample number of nonprofits in Bucks County need help from volunteer groups, teams, or schools.

Fairless Hills-based Quilts for Kids turns donated fabric into patchwork quilts for children dealing with serious illnesses, abuse, or survivors of natural disasters.  

Quilts for Kids is looking for volunteers to deliver the quilts to children’s hospitals in the region.  

New Hope’s Rolling Harvest Food Rescue is searching for a team to harvest surplus crops from local farmers to share with families facing food insecurity. Groups of ten people can sign up to volunteer.  

Doylestown nonprofit A Woman’s Place seeks to support survivors of domestic violence and abuse. The adult volunteer program works on the development and administrative side.  

The teen volunteer program places individuals in the organization’s thrift store, the administrative office, young adult advisory board, and more.  

Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County is looking for families, groups, sports teams or any organization to sponsor a Team Volunteer Day. The nonprofit is also looking for volunteers to work at one of its ReStore outlets.
