Two philanthropic organizations in Bucks County recently collaborated with each other in order to secure items for local families.

Earlier this month, the Danaher Lynch Family Organization, based in Newtown, recently worked with United Way of Bucks County, based in Fairless Hills, to help organize and send out essential items to local families who are struggling financially.

The two Bucks County organizations worked with other volunteers at The HELP Center in Bristol to set up donations of both clothing and food items, which went out to families across the area.

“Thank you so much to the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation team,” United Way of Bucks County said online. “Earlier this month they had a team meeting at our #HELPCenterBucks and after the DLSF meeting, the team went right to work unloading 2 pallets filled with brand new home goods to help stock the center.”

Both organizations have been working hard to ensure that local families get the items they need in order to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

“At United Way of Bucks County, we are all about community helping community,” said Sheri Ratner, the HELP Center’s Volunteer & HELP Center Manager.

“Knowing your gifted time has a real, tangible impact on families in your neighborhood is what makes the HELP Center such a unique opportunity for volunteers. We are so thankful to have welcomed the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation team.”
