Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope is a stunning destination filled with gorgeous flora and a refuge for both people and wildlife, reports Tom Kretschmer for 6 ABC.

The special sanctuary is always filled with things to see and learn. This makes it a magical place that cannot be found in the usual neighborhood woodlands or parks.

“We are 134 acres of conserved land dedicated solely to the education and distribution of native plants here in the Bucks County area,” said Peter Couchman, Executive Director of Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve.

The preserve is home to more than 700 native plants.

“Not only do they bring beauty and attract wildlife and pollinators, but they are central to our way of life,” said Couchman. In addition, “what that does is it recognizes the real tangible health and wellness benefits that engaging with green space can do for a person.”

The mission of the wildflower preserve is to increase both the knowledge and use of native plants by offering educational resources and serving as a destination that helps inspire future conservation action.
