Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope is the place where nature lovers, pollinators, and wildlife come together to create a diverse ecosystem of unmatched beauty, reports Tom Kretschmer for ABC7.

Nestled along the Delaware River, the preserve has 134 acres of woodland, meadows, ponds, and plants, all available for visitors to explore year-round.

“It’s just somewhat of a magical place that you cannot find in just your neighborhood woodland or a park,” said Peter Couchman, Executive Director of Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve.

The ecologically diverse preserve provides the area with many native plants and trees and as such serves an important purpose in making sure a healthy ecosystem is sustained for animals and people alike. In fact, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is home to over 700 native plants.

“Not only do they bring beauty and attract wildlife and pollinators, but they are central to our way of life,” said Couchman.

“But what that does is it recognizes the real tangible health and wellness benefits that engaging with green space can do for a person,” he added.
