Brothers Antonio and Noah Morris, both seniors at Bensalem High School, want to end this basketball season on a positive note for their father, the team’s head coach Ron Morris, writes Joseph Santoliquito for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Ron Morris has been associated with the Bensalem High School boys’ basketball program for nearly two decades and he is about to start his fifth season as head coach. While he is excited about the season, the coach is also bracing for this being the last year his sons will play for him.

“I’m a passionate, emotional person, so this will be a roller coaster for me all year,” he said. “They’re my boys. I waited for these special moments since they were little.”

The Owls wrapped up last season with a 12-10 overall record and were out of the PIAA District Class 6A playoffs. This season, the brothers hope to win the league title the last time playing under their dad and make the state playoffs.

“We are going to be in better shape this year and I’m 100 percent ready for the next step,” said Noah.
