Officials from Doylestown Borough are adding the finishing touches to two major community events that are coming up.

The borough is “finalizing plans” for the Doylestown Arts Festival and the Bucks County Classic, both of which will be held in the area next month. Along with organizers from these two events, members of the Central Bucks Regional Police, Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services, Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, and the Public Works Department came together to plan and organize to ensure that the events go off without a hitch.

The 32nd annual Doylestown Arts Festival is set to be held on Sept. 9 and 10. Founded in 1991, over 150 artists from the Bucks County area and beyond will have their art featured on a public platform. Several major roads in Doylestown will be shut down for the duration of the event each day.

The Bucks County Classic will be held on Sept. 10 from 9 AM – 4 PM.

“The Bucks County Classic in beautiful Doylestown Pennsylvania is more than just a race,” organizers said online. “We embrace the sport of cycling and offer experiences for all to participate.”
