‘Doylestown Farmers Market’ to be Held This Weekend, with Reusable Bags and Plants for All

Vendors of all kinds will be in attendance to sell their food and other goods for all who want to shop local.

A borough in Bucks County will be hosting a popular farmers market this weekend, complete with environmentally-friendly goodies for all.

The Doylestown Farmers Market will be held on Aug. 5 from 8 AM – 1 PM at South Hamilton Street in Doylestown. Vendors of all kinds will be in attendance to sell their food and other goods for all who want to shop local.

The borough will also be giving out bags and plants to those who come in an effort to promote enivromentally-friendly practices around the area.

“Our Environmental Advisory Council will be at the Farmers Market handing out free reusable bags and pollinator plants from ‘Kind Earth Growers’ this weekend!” the borough said in its community email. “Stop by to chat with them about the Borough’s ongoing environmental initiatives.”

Along with organic foods, customers can also expect to find artisan bread, baked goods, jams, sauces, olive oil, honey, maple syrup, condiments, pickles, hand-crafted soaps, aromatherapy items, alpaca yarn, knife sharpening, dog treats, and handmade jewelry.
