The reorganization saw several new positions for the new year.

One of Bucks County’s most popular boroughs is undergoing a reorganization of their boards and other local government positions. Ed Doyle wrote about the reorganization for TAPInto Doylestown.

At a recent meeting for the Doylestown Borough Council, several members of boards and commissions were reappointed amongst the vacant positions.

Among the open positions filled were spots in the borough’s Building and Fire Code Board of Appeals, Economic Development Advisory Board, Environmental Advisory Council, Human Relations Commission, and Park and Recreation Board, among others.

The boards and commissions that still have vacancies are the Doylestown Dog Park Advisory Board, Economic Development Advisory Board, Environmental Advisory Council, Fanny Chapman Pool Board, Human Relations Commission, and the Planning Commission, among others.

For the vacant positions, residents of Doylestown Borough can put their name in so they can potentially be voted into an important position in the area’s local government. The open positions will give residents the chance to make a difference in their communities and help Doylestown retain its reputation as one of Bucks County’s best areas to visit and live in.
