Cordus Mundi, the Bucks County-based male a cappella singing group, will be holding auditions for accomplished tenor and bass singers for its upcoming 2023-24 choral season, according to a staff report from The Reporter.

The group, which has been singing together for 18 years, is known throughout the area. It is an all-volunteer choir led by its artistic director and music director.

Cordus Mundi rehearses on Monday evenings in Solebury from September until June. They present three-four core concerts per season and have other engagements scheduled throughout the year. The group’s repertoire ranges from the 12th to the 21st century and encompasses a wide range of composers and styles.

Auditions will be held in August and early September, with the exact dates yet to be announced.

“We’ve had some of our guys retire at the end of the season and we will truly miss them going forward,” said artistic director Rick Rosen. “At the same time, these changes present us with a great opportunity to add new energy and perhaps even new direction to the group.”
