Several Bucks County Towns to Celebrate ‘National Night Out’ This Week

Several police departments in Bucks County will be partaking an annual event meant to bring the community together. Danielle Hess wrote about the activities for the Bucks County Courier Times.
“National Night Out” will be held in Bucks County on Aug. 1. The event is meant to help strengthen “the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community,” event organizers said online.
“Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.”
Here is a list of some of the local police departments partaking in the festivities and where they will be celebrating the occasion:
- Buckingham Township Police Department – Peddlers Village in Lahaska from 6 – 8 PM
- Perkasie Borough Police Department – Perkasie Town Center from 6 – 8 PM
- Tullytown Borough Police Department – Tullytown Borough Park from 5 – 9 PM
- Quakertown Borough Police Department – Various locations in Quakertown from 5 – 8 PM
- Bensalem Police Department – Township Pavilion from 6:30 – 8:30Â PM
- Falls Township Police Department – Falls Township Community Park from 6 – 9 PM
- Bristol Borough Police Department – Snyder-Girotti Elementary School from 6 – 8 PM
